1964-67 GTO / Lemans / Tempest 4 Speed Console Kit – 10 pieces – Unassembled
Buying all the pieces separately this kit would retail for $747.95!
We have now reproduced this factory 4-speed console assembly. This kit will work on 64-67 cars, but is the most correct for 1965 or 1966. In 1964 the top plate was painted blue between the ribs, and the shifter bezel was molded in the top plate. In 65-67 the bezel is removable. The 67’s have wood grain on the top.
This console kit is chrome show plated ABS plastic. The shifter bezel is pot metal. Our 10 piece kit includes the console base (comes neutral gray paint to match), front chrome console plate, console door, console door housing, console hinge, shifter bezel, console lock (blank button style), console lock retainer, rear console lamp housing and lens.
This console kit will be shipped unassembled and does not include hardware.
GM used the same console base on all the transmissions, cutting the side of the console and upper top area to clear the shifter on a manual car.
The base will not be trimmed for the 4 speed.
