This Victorian era antique handmade Torchon Cluny bobbin lace border dress trim yardage dates from the late 19th century. It is handmade of a white sheer strong flax cotton Torchon Cluny style bobbin lace with simple geometric patterns, straight lines, half stitch motives, basic ground, fans and leaves pattern. This lovely lace border trim yardage would have been used for decorating clothing. The trim measures 3 1/2 inches wide and is 102 inches long with almost 3 yards long of yardage ready to be upcycled, used for your next project. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique handmade bobbin lace art!
